Need new USB key

I cannot get the USB key to show up, it's been a while since I've used it. Can I put my licenses on any USB stick, or does it need to be one like the original? I am getting this message when I try to install  the Epic Orchestra:

Did you try updating eLicenser?

Your VSL licences will only work on an eLicenser device, as sold by VSL or other retailers.

This is a much-talked-about issue. 

We are recommended to replace our Vienna Keys every 2 years. I have a drawer full of old ones that were still working. 

Do a search on these forums for Vienna Key - you may be shocked....
