  • Midi editor for VEP5

Hello, Im using VEP 5 and need a way to edit some midi data like keyboard splits filtering some CC or transforming CCs. I think is nothing en VEP itself, there is some plugin to acomplish that? Its weird so big software doent have some very basic functionality. Sorry for my sbad english.

  • Hello fermuscolo,

I'm afraid VE PRO is "only" a host, MIDI editing and filtering needs to be done in your DAW or with additional plug-ins, but I can't think of one right now - hopefully someone else can chime in.

Maybe you can tell us a bit more about what you want to do?

    Best,
    Paul

  • I like most than anything to limit keybord range to some plugins. If I have to do it in three layers I have to open different channels in Mainstage with different vienna instances. Vienna is in other computer and for live situation It adds lots of channels if you like to do in multiple patches. Doint it in Vienna is much easyer and I think less audio channels to transfer so less cpu

    Hi,

Maybe the key range editor you get for each channel is what you are looking for?

See page 82 in the english VE PRO 5 manual.
