  • Transferring VSL Samples and Software to new computer

    Hi all,

I have purchased a new computer. What is the protocol for transferring my entire VSL library and software over to the new computer? And can I have my library on two computers? Thank you!

    Hi,

Here is the procedure for moving to a new computer, step by step.

You can install your library on as many computers as you like, but you can always only access the products you have an available license for on your ViennaKey (which needs to be connected to your computer). You can also distribute your collections onto multiple computers this way and use VE PRO to connect your networked computers.

On your new computer, please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and the latest VSL software.

Also, please connect your ViennaKey with your licenses.

If you have your sample content still available, simply copy it to your new computer. Then open the Directory Manager and drag this folder onto it. Here is a video on how to use the Directory Manager.

If you DON`T have the sample content available anymore, please insert DVD#1 of your collection, then launch the Library Installer and follow the instructions for installation.

Alternatively, you can now also download all Vienna Instruments Collections from MyVSL (instructions in the column to the left).

    Best,
    Paul
