  • VEP 6 and PC Slaves

Just upgraded my PC Slaves to Windows 10 and had to do a clean install to upgrade, so have had to rebuild my VEP setups.

I have 2 Slave PCs and a main DAW Mac, each has two network cards which are connected like this:

Network Port 1 goes to Gigabit Switch 1 (Dedicated to Internet)
Network Port 2 goes to Gigabit Switch 2 (Dedicated to VEP)

Problem is in my DAW the Server plugin shows each VEP Server Project as available on both Network cards which is confusing. So I see for example VEP PC 1 on 192.168.1.81 (auto assigned by DHCP) and 168.192.2.20 (Fixed IP).

Is there a way to tell the VEP Server to forget one of them (I only want to see the one dedicated to VEP without internet)?

  • I think i recall just disabling the VEP app on the Windows 10 firewall settings for the network adapter I didnt want to see...in your case, your Internet connection.
