  • Cubase expression maps for Synchron Strings are available here

    Hello,

I have programmed two Cubase expression maps for Synchron Strings : one for violins, violas and celli and the other for double basses. I made them on Cubase 9.5 but that should work with any Cubase version.

They must be completed (release samples keyswitches still have to be implemented) but they should work yet in most use cases.

I won't explain how they work because I have very few time left now but I'l try to answer your questions if needed.

Basically, they mirror SYS matrixes : the group 2 gather the main articulations except short notes and the group 3 is dedicated to expression (vibrato & senza vib). Short notes are in their own group for convenience (so you don't have to cut and redraw the legato and sustained articulations).

Feel free to modify them so they suit your needs and, of course, do not hesitate to report the errors 😊

  • Thank you, Michaël G!

I do not own Synchron Strings I as of now, but Expression Maps are always helpful!

    Cheers!
