Hi, Paul!

I don't think there will be any specific plans yet. But I just want to know any possibility because I'm very satisfied at Yamaha CFX though some small transient(release/phase) error in the range of C3~B3 and also playing with it everyday. Yamaha CFX became my first piano than any piano VST.

In fact, my personal favorite is Bösendorfer and I already own the Vienna Imperial, but I want to see the Synchron Piano version of Bosendorfer. The same holds true for Steinway.

So, is there any possibility of different brands of Synchron Piano? (Bosendorfer, Steinway or any other brands that don't exist now in the Synchron Hall)

Thanks :)

http://beethoven.resampled.de
currently the first four Symphonies of L.v.Beethoven completly recorded with the finest available orchestra samplelibraries (BBCSO, SSO, STO)

http://klassik-resampled.de
Currently 4330 mp3 with more than a whole Week (=more than 8 Days /=nearly 200 hours) of sample based interpretations of complete Scores from 7 Centuries

There are alraedy three Pianos present in Synchron-Stage See here

I would expect their Bösendorfer and Steinway are already in the pipeline to become new VSL-Products in the Future.

(Just to be immodest as i am usual: )

So dear VSL

Could you please hurry up with the Steinway a bit, I dont want to stick on Yamaha for my Synchron projects currently in Preparation .

Haha your level of desire seems similar to mine :)

I hope it will be released someday. I can wait with CFX.

I'm sure we'll see them.  VSL will have learned a lot in the production of the CFX and have a good idea how to do it more efficiently (and cost effectively) for the next instrument; I'm sure they will want to make good use of that knowledge.

There are a lot of Steinway D VSTis out there, but none of them are entirely convincing for one reason or another, so there is definitely an opportunity there.  There are many fewer Bösendorfers, and they are even less convincing, so that's wide open.  Would be nice to see VSL versions of both.
