    Hi Andi,

    I've just upgraded my winds, brass and percussion for use with Sibelius from VE Special Edition to Winds I, Brass I and Percussion single instruments.

    Most things are working fine except:

    The English Horn French (see screen shot 1) which seems to be missing some articulations and misbehaves under a slur

    The Bass Drum (see screen shot 2) which loads as a Harp and doesn't have a matrix.

    I'm using the Sibelius presets for everything and the single instruments versions.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Hello Nick!

    After looking at your screenshots it seems to me that you have loaded VI presets for instruments that you don't have registered.

    - You have loaded the English Horn French full preset, while you have registered the English Horn French standard. That's why some articulations are missing.

    - You don't have the Percussion collections or Drums & Toms single instrument registered. That's why you can't load the preset for the Bass Drum. You could use the Special Edition preset for Drums with the "VE Special Edition" or "VE Special Edition PLUS" sound set) instead. The instrument name shows Harp 1, because you mostly likely had Harp 1 loaded there, before you have tried to load the Bass Drum.

    Hi Andi,

    Thanks for the quick reply. You're right about the Bass Drum... really thought I had purchased that... my apologies.

    Regarding the English Horn however that is definitely the standard preset from the Sibelius soundset (see attached screenshot). Any ideas?

    Hello Nick!

    You are right. There is an error in this preset. You can find the corrected version attached with this message. Please delete the old preset in your VSL Custom Data folder and put the new version there. I'll update the VSL Soundset Installer as well. So with the next released version the correct preset will be installed automatically.
