  • Synchron String are not being found in VE Pro

I downloaded the Synchron String library.

    Installed them.

Inside the eLicenser I see the Key

I removed and added back all folders in the Directory Manager.

But there SY Strings are not in VE Pro.  No presets, no matrix, no patch.  All of my cells come up red.

So how do I get the VE Pro recognize the library?

Are you actually opening a VI instance? You should install Synchron Player and open a "Plugin/Synchron Player" instance instead. What Synchron Strings had you installed?

    Hi,

Did you install the Synchron Player Software?

As soon as it is installed and you have all the latest components available (also VE PRO and eLicenser Control Center), you can add the Synchron Player in VE PRO.

Database Management is different for Synchron Series, it is from inside the SP Preferences, not via the VI Directory Manager.

Here is a link to the Synchron Player tutorials.

    Best,

  • I was using a download version of SY Strings project, I guess that is defunct.

Well, in theory it's not, if you install the VI version of Synchron Strings, but... it's not a good idea! The same result is managed by the Synchron Player in a nicer, more effective and easy way, and in 1 shot (just opening a sinle plug-in instance instead of the intricated set of channels of the VE project...)
