  • [SOLVED] FORTI/SERTI problem

    Hello,

I have a problem with FORTI inside of VE Pro server.

When I set up an intrument with FORTI filters (Timbral EQ, TILT, HP) inside the Convolution Reverb plugin I have to mute the dry part, everything works fine in VE Pro. I attached a screenshot where I'm using LASS. I also separated the dry and wet part to have more control.

But when I try to load this setup inside the Multiport template with VE PRO server, it doesn't work. I have to unmute the dry part, so I can't use the filters. Am I doing something wrong routing-wise? I'm wondering because inside VE Pro it works.

  • Please try a latency other than 0 in Vienna Suite Convolution Reverb. That's the little pull-down in the lower right corner of its GUI.

  • Thank you for the quick reply, Dietz.

It works, but now I have some dropouts/clicks. Is there a recommended value? I set it to 128.

  • Simply try to increase the latency value to a number that allows your CPU for computing all necessary data smoothly. 256 or 512 seem to be meaningful settings.

  • Thanks again, Dietz.

  • Can we regard the issue as solved then? :-)

  • Yes, of course. Thanks.
