  • Output Audio from One DAW to other - Possible?

    Greetings,

I have VEP Pro working on two machines and have run plugins / instruments remotely with no major issues.

I have been trying to do the following, what I thought was a very simple scenario but cannot get it working (or maybe I don't understand the routing as well as I thought, it is my first day with a license on each machine)...

    So:

    • Main DAW with ASIO RME FFUCX
    • Mobile DAW is Laptop with no ASIO Driver only internal audio

All I want to do is get Cubase to send audio from the Mobile DAW >>>
To the MAIN DAW machine and therefore I can hear it over my studio monitors etc.

I setup a Server Instance on the MAIN DAW

Added and Connected it to it from Laptop / Inserted a connection on main outs and can see the audio coming into the VEP Server on the MAIN DAW but I cannot find any way to hear it. It will not let me add any more connections to that instance.

I have Cubase on the Main DAW of course but can find no way to get at that incoming signal.

So I was thinking maybe use the Standlone VEP to accept the input from the server. No way to do that.

So is there a way to get the audio from 1 machine to another as I describe above?

    Thanks for any hints. :-)
