I run the latest version of both Cubase 9.5 and VEpro. Cubase and VEpro both run on a Mac pro 5.1 plus VEpro on two PC-slaves. I recently switched to 9.5 and was using 8.5 until now. Everything runs as fine, as it used to, but since using 9.5, I get a crash of Cubase, when I load the VEpro server projects befor the Cubase project. When I load Cubase first and then manually connect all instanced ... no problem! Everything runs smooth. What could be the reason for that?

Thanks Paul! I am afraid, I cannot do that, as it is a hang, not a crash. Cubase simply won't go past setting up some mixer settings and then nothing happens and I have to force-quit Mac OS (High Sierra). I could narrow it down now to only one problematic slave PC with a loaded server project. At least Cubase did load fine now, with this one project not loaded.
I can live with this for the time being, but I would like to investigate what seems to be the problem. is there any way I could narrow it down more to find it? Or any other way then a crash report to help you find the reason?

Hi,
Do the following: Highlight Cubase in the Activity Monitor, the click the small "i" in the upper left corner. Then click "Sample" in the following window. Save that sample and send it to us. Maybe we can find out more.

I've updated to VE Pro 7 this week and now Cubase 9.5.50 freezes on start-up when VE Pro 7 server is open. The error is said to be with the eLicenser, but all of this worked flawless until I started working with VE PRO 7. Is there a solution for this?

Hi EmBee1972,
Did you install the latest eLCC Software, restart the computer and try to connect your key to a different port yet?
