    Can the unload/exit time for VEPro be sped up, or is this just a side-effect of using a lot of RAM?  My local VEPro template has around 50G loaded, and takes roughly 3 minutes to close without saving (template already saved). 

    All samples are on SSDs, as is the OS (Windows 8.1).

    Hi dterry, 

    Yes, deallocation of samples also takes some time. 

    But you can actually also force quit VE PRO without any damage, if you like (dirty,  but effective).

    Just make sure that you have saved your work.

    Hi guys,

    I'm having the same issue on unload except it often hangs and never completes, requiring a force quit.  This is on 2010 macpro 12 core, OSX 10.12.6, 64 GB ram & SSD's, being used as slave.  I always disconnect with the DAW before unloading.  My vepro server instance loads about 40GB of hardwired ram, 48GB total.  It's all spitfire libraries in 8 instances of kontakt 5.8.1.  I was actually hoping to add Berlin WW's to this mac, but I'm concerned it won't handle it.

    I don't seem to have this issue with more heavily loaded slave pc's with multiple Play instances. 

    Is vepro/kontakt on the mac problematic in general?

    Anybody with simlar issues or help?
