    One of my favorite features in VI Pro is the Start Offset.  In the Legato Mode it creates these subtle differences in the legato transitions between notes which creates variety and variety helps brings out a natural performance.  But I was messing around with the Legato Blur and I realize they are two different functions but, sonically, they sound pretty much the same to my ears anyway.  The higher the Start Offset value the softer (blured) the transition (or is it the other way around😕).

    So can anybody tell me if there is a difference between the two functions? 

    Also, I'm kind of curious to know how others use those two features.
