Having trouble getting Vienna Instruments Pro to see my Mod wheel (CC1).
Cubase responds to it - but is Cubase stopping it from getting to Vienna in some way?
Is there something I need to enable? The pitch wheel gets through OK.

The mod wheel on CC1 is seen when I remove the VSL-supplied expression map from Cubase. However, now I have no expression map! There was a "Controller CC1" entry in the output mapping. I'm a bit puzzled by this as I can't find anything in the documentation about it.
Hello richardjenkins!
As far as I know, if a Cubase expression map with CC data is loaded, the CC numbers that are included in the expression map are disabled from live input.
If no expression map is loaded, I can't see any reason, why CC1 shouldn't work. Can you record it to your Cubase track?
Best regards,
Andi
Andi,
I've reassigned the CC number sent from my mod wheel from CC1 to CC115 and it now works - even with the expression map loaded. I guess the expression map was using CC1.
I'm new to MIDI and electronic keyboards, but slowly getting there.
Regards, Richard.
