In some previous post, we got information that no more strings were planned soon, and no dimension-strings were planned at all, but after the succesful implementation of Synchron-ized Dimension Brass, we may hope in a change of opinions... the usability of the library should be improved a lot by the Synchron player structure, as it has been already proven with the Brass...
Of course the Brass made a lot more sense being a missing section in Synchron series, and they were easier to implement due to lower amount of players, then probably the first next commercial target for VSL are the Wood Winds, but who knows... I suppose several of the Dimension Strings supporter are available to buy the upgrade, and the Synchronization may give new push to the Dimension Strings sales...
...yes they are a lot of samples to edit, but Dimension Strings max 8 players instead of Dimension Brass 4 doesn't seem to be an impossible implementation... (humanization database of Dimension strings is already in the Synchron Player, just waiting for the samples and patches to be created...  )

Indeed the Power of the Dimensionstring-Library has been the main reason for me to suggest five years ago the Articulation-Dimension-Structure for the first time which is implemented now in the synchron Player. especially the meticoulouisly sampled complet Articulationsets played on each of the four strings could presumably not be used smarter than with that kind of multidemnsional Playerstructure.
But of course those seperate Complete Articulationsets for each single string is presumably what would make it a pretty laboursome task to "synchronize" them. If they would ever do I would applaude as much as possible, but I am realistic enough to be no less satisfied if they would prefer to complete the original Synchron-Orchestra with some Winds in the near future.
(And of course a good Synchron Steinway, Synchron Solostrings are likewise always welcome.)
To sum up, there are more than enough great things which might be in the near future on their Ppeline, so no matter what comes first, I just hope they sooner or later have the chance to bring the Dimension-strings into the Synchron world.
