    I'm considering buying someone's 'sealed' DVD set of Orchestral Cube, however my concerns are that I don't know for sure if it has been registered since I don't know how the serials were distributed with the physical versions (were they inside the packaging or separate?) and also would I be stuck with an outdated version or would be it be allowed to be updated? From what I understand the physical sets of Orchestral Cube are OLD! Thanks anyone who can inquire on this. I'm currently considering Orchestral Cube plus a few extra libraries to make it match more of what SE Complete is, but naturally with way more room to expand in the future.

    welcome Eucalyptis,
    the Orchestral Cube (First Edition or Pro Edition) was distributed until 2007 but unfortunately there is no longer an upgrade path to Vienna Instruments or Synchron Series and also the Performance Tool is no longer supported.
    the serial numbers for DVD products were in the box printed on a sticker - we can check if they have been registered (write to support@vsl.co.at if interested).

    however - i'd recommend to invest in a more modern product, maybe our Black Friday Offer is a good opportunity to get some Special Edition products (VI) or the Smart Orchestra -> https://www.vsl.co.at/en/Product_Overview/Starter_Editions
