  • NEW FEATURE Synchron Pianos: Timbre Shift

    Hi everybody,

We have just release an update for the Synchron Pianos Software (1.1.1124), with a cool new feature called "Timbre Shift", directly on the PLAY page. You can now change the timbre of both the Yamaha CFX and the Steinway D by altering the settings, in half-tone steps.

What happens in the background is that the samples are pitched for playback (up to an octave up and down), with interesting results, especially suitable for low velocities.

Give it a try and tell us how you like it!

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hallo Paul, I like this feature. It brings different characters and colors to the Sound. Timbre shift could be a benefit for the SY Strings 1 too. And probably for the upcoming Brass too. This Feature-cherrypicking from Player to Player to Player to Player ... I don’t know ... Sometimes I would prefer the use of only one Player with all features for every Instrumnet included! The Synchron Piano Player offers this timbre shift feature ... which you do not find in the Synchron Player. The Synchron Player has all these EffectPlugIns ... which you do not find in the Synchron Piano Player. Why is this? Best, Lars

    Hi Lars,

    Well observed!

Short answer: Prriorities in innovation and maintenance work for our development team.

We're definitely not running out of ideas here ðŸ˜Š, and I hear what you are saying!

Also, seemd like we found out that most people who purchase a sampled piano actually want it to sound like a piano ðŸ˜®.

    Best.

Well, seems you have overlooked all those Keyscape-users ;)) BR, Lars

  • BTW, It is catalogue-time! Will you announce it?

  • Hi again, another feature from the SY Piano Player that I wanna see in the SY Player is the loudness feature per key! Donkeee! Gruß, Lars
