    Hi,

    Is there any big performance differnce between Windows 7 & 10 for VEP 5 & 6?

    I'm just installing some systems with options for Windows 7 & 10 x64

    I found this article which looks like it could be relevant to VEP "power users" maybe, please comment

    Or to ask the question another way, are there any dis-advantages to using Windows 7?

    I'll probably mix some WIn 7 and 10 on different CPU's - but it would be good to know from people who may use both Win 7 and 10 on a daily basis. - thanks

    After January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 7.

    Could be a potential disadvantage?

    Yes of course but VEP 5 & 6 can be used "off line" can't it?

    Have you used both Win 7 & 10 with VEP libraries etc......? - and have noticed any "big" differences?

    As it is if I can use Win 10 I will - but some machines have Win 7 on and if they work without problems such as thread limitations ??? - then there will be no problem using them

    I'll find out eventually through daily use but someone here may already have had this daily use and have notable comments ? -thanks
