    This is driving me crazy:

    Opening up the Spitfire Labs engine takes 6 minutes everytime.

    Opening a Waves instrument: 4 minutes. 

    Opening the Synchron player: 3,5 minutes

    Nexus, Zebra, Kontakt: 1 second

    CPU usage: 35%

    RAM usage: 64%

     

    So what's going on here?

    Sounds like something is in the way there.

    What are the specs of your computer? Which drives, how are they connected?

    Firewalls / AV programs?

    My specs are:

    Windows 10 Pro

    Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake

    HyperX Fury DDR4 2400MHz 64GB

    Samsung 850 PRO 256GB 2.5" SSD
    Samsung 850 EVO 1TB 2.5" SSD


    ASUS Prime Z270-A, Socket-1151

    No firewall or AV. This is a slave PC so the audio only goes through a gigabit ethernet cable.
