    Hello.  Just installed the new Steinway Synchron keyboard.  I already had the Yamaha installed.  Using Mac 10.12.6, Digital Performer 9.  Installed the latest version of Synchron keyboards.  I notice the piano icon that toggles between the two keyboards.  The Yamaha works fine, as before. The Steinway, no sound.  In the same setup instance the Yamaha works, but the Steinway does not.  Any idea what I'm missing / haven't done?  I seem to be able to load the sound into the Steinway (get the download icon briefly, etc.) but no sound.  Suggestions?

    Hi KeyboardGuy,

    Did you check that you are using the latest Synchron Pianos software version?

    Yes, I am using the latest version.  However, I had only downloaded the "stereo" version when I did the first tests.  I figured the downloads were modular, namely, they didn't have to both be loaded to test the piano.  Well, then I downloaded the other file(s) and this time it worked.  So, I was able to hear this amazing new piano.  It seems the choices for the patch/downloads are the same for both the Yamaha and the Steinway, and I don't think that's correct.  Is it?  

     But in any case, the Steinway is one of the most amazing piano sounds I've heard.  I'm familiar with the venerable Hamburg Steinway and this is wonderful.  In an idealized headphone/audio environment, it may be the best piano I've ever heard, and that is saying much.

    Hi, 

    Good to hear that you got it working, and even better that you like it so much ;-)

    I think what happened is that you only assigned the MULTI content, which doesn't produce sound on its own, you need the STEREO files as well. Hope we can add a warning there at some point. 

    There is one more close mic acvailable with the Steinway, that's the main difference regarding the download files.
