  • VSL Solo Strings and Sibelius, glissando up/down

Hi all, I'm using the wonderful VSL Solo Strings, I have a little question.

I'm writing a string quartet with Sibelius software and VSL Solo Strings as VST. On the cello part I applied the "custom1" technique text and in the corresponding cell of the matrix I inserted the patch "06 VC_octav-gliss_fa".

I read that I have to specify the keyswitch A / B to select the direction (if up or down). I read that to do this I have to set A/B Select to a free controller (I assinged the CC53).

Now: how I have to write this one with the technique text? Something like this ?

    custom1 ~CC53,127

    Thanks so much in advance

    Luca

  • Hello Luca!

Your suggestion on how to write the MIDI command in Sibelius is almost correct. Just make two commands out of it and leave one "C" out.
