  • Remote App midi switching note length (VEPro 6)

When I record articulation changes from my ipad using the remote web app it sends a momentary midi command to my DAW.

Practical experience using this has led me to go into the piano roll and lengthen these switching commands usually for the entire period that the artic is required. This is because during real-world jumping around a huge project if I don't catch a specific articulation I need ahead of it's use in the timeline then the wrong artic is often still latent from wherever I previously was.

It's not too difficult to go into the piano roll and adjust the length of the two notes (X-Y I guess) [but I do have to zoom in quite a way to get a handle on the note length because it's so short] but it would often be much simpler if the action was note-on note-off - or if I were able to choose my own default note length. I often get caught out by this and it has been known to waste a lot of time. Simply being able to hold the articulation cell down with my finger for my desired length would save a lot of time in the long run.

Is it possible to do this (haven't spotted anything in the manuals) or could that be some kind of feature request if not currently available?

Also if the switching notes were longer they would be much easier to spot in the piano roll for those times when I'm not sure if I'd written one in or not etc..
