  • Sibelius Sound Set for Epic Orchestra 2.0

    Hello!

The Sibelius sound set "VE Epic Orchestra" has been updated for Epic Orchestra 2.0. Now all included instruments can be used with Sibelius.
This sound set can also be used for our Synchron Power Drums and Jazz Drums.

The new sound set is included with the latest VSL Soundset Installer for Sibelius (v.1.0.156).

  • Tks Andi,

Just to say that that the EPIC Orchestra 2.0 samples, played thru Sibelius 2019.1, and using the latest "VE EPIC Orchestra" soundset (SibeliusSoundsets-WIN-1.0.156), work well for me (and yield great sounds!)- all except for one: "rise & hit detache" in "12 Synchron FX Strings I Light".

Inserting technique text "detache" doesn't trigger it; however, adding the D1# keyswitch does work. All other articulations of FX Strings ("glissando", "ord.", harmonics") work OK.

  • Hello Gil!

Thanks for the feedback. The detache command works fine here for triggering the "Rise & hit detache" patch in the preset "12 Synchron FX Strings I Light". Maybe you have another command from earlier in the score that's in the way. Did you try resetting the Sound ID with an "ord." or "normal" Technique Text command before the "detache" command?

    Best regards,
    Andi

Thanks Andi - and keep up the good work.
