VEP Licences
-
Hello HART,
I checked your registrations and found that you purchased one license for VE Pro 7 (which now also works with VE Pro 6), and also Epic Orchestra 2.0.
We have changed our license policy with VE Pro 7 and are offering separate licenses, so if you'd like to use the VE Pro Server on a second computer, you will need a second license and a second key to hold your license.
If you "only" want to use the VE Pro Server on your slave computer, you will not need a license on your master computer, as the "Vienna Ensemble Pro" plug-in (that connects to the VE PRO Server on the slave computer) does not need a license to run. So you can move the key containing your licenses to your slave computer in this case.
Best,
Paul

Hi, Still no luck so I'll try and tell you my set up and perhaps you can tell me where I'm going wrong:
Dongles inserted in Main and Slave computers.
Main
When I open VEP on main I get : Could not find license fot VPro .... and when Imtry to open in Logic Pro x I don't see any server instances.
Slave
Opens as Standalone with Channel 1 showing : None on the bottom right of Master bus
I don't seem to have a clue on how to use this software.
Also I have order yet another dongle from youselves which I don't seem to need aand will cancel this purchase if possible

things are getting clearer ... it seems you like to use 2 instances of VEPRO - e.g. on 2 computers - so you would need 2 licenses (one on each ViennaKey / eLicenser).
please see https://www.vsl.co.at/en/Software/Vienna_Ensemble_Pro#!FAQ - scroll down to "How many VE Pro 7 licenses do I need?"
and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
