    Does anyone have this working?

    I have TeamViewer working fine, but MS Remote Desktop is just not seeing my Windows 7 slave, and I'm trying to figure out whether trying to get it working is a fool's errand.

    There's nothing particularly wrong with TeamViewer, but I'd rather use RD.

    hi Nick,
    there was an update for Windows Remote Desktop Services and Remote Desktop Client somewhen last year which included protocol changes (something regarding encryption). if service and client were of different versions after this update no connection was possible - maybe this applies also to your setup.
