Hi everyone,

Here is my Orchestration of Johann Burgmuller's l’Arabesque. Opus 100.

All sounds are VSL

Any comments on the orchestration are highly appreciated. Thanks for listening.

I really enjoyed that. A thoroughly convincing performance and the overall acoustic of the piece is better (warmer and more intimate) than Perpetuum Mobile on your Soundcloud channel, the core instrument sound is more present .. possibly a more expensive seat in the auditorium...or just a better venue .. !

: )

If I have a criticism it is minor. I found the single note of the Xylophone in bar 10 and the arrival of the cymbals in bar 11 to be just a little too quiet, so momentarily losing the humour of the xylophone and the energy and power of the arrival of the cymbals and I guess as there's the opportunty to have 'a word' with the percussionist I'd see if they had a lower pitched slighty darker set in their collection.
