  • can i have a trial/demo please of Vepro?

    Hi

Well i think i am done,  my current copperlan and vmidi setup is killing me :)   Its prob time to grow up and use this vepro that everyone talks about.

Do you guys do trials demos?  I have a master/DAW with a single vst slave.   If i can get a trail/demo, i only have a single vienna key that i just registered with you,  do i need two keys for a master slave setup?  i have read around the web you can and also that you need two.

    sorry lots of questions.

    thanks

    Pete

  • nice one!

I have sent in a request, yesterday,  will let you know how i go.

Do you now if its possible to have a master slave setup with only one usb key?  the you tube stuff i have looked at seems to indicate i need 2

  • Hi Brio,

You will need one USB eLicenser key for every computer you want to run the VE Pro Server on (to load plug-ins).

So if you are "only" connecting from your master computer (and no server is needed on the master), you will only need one key and license on your networked computer.

    Best,
    Paul

wow i got a 30 day trail of vepro 7, and yes for anyone else, you can run vepro server on your slave with one key install vepro on your daw and use your daw to connect to it without needing another key in your daw.

i suppose the prob is running vsts local on the daw will cause probs with playing in sync with the slave, unless i also run vepro on my daw, but i would then need another key and License.

I am intrested to see how many audio streams i can handle, Is it normal to run an audio output from each instument? or do people tend to lump some together, seems nuts to try and stream 50 odd audio outputs, over a network.

Anyways am just playing around at the moment, this does seem to be the way to go. I am doing plenty reading,

thanks for the demo and info
