  • VEP 7 second license key ?

    Hi.

I purchased vep 7 in presale. Today, I received an email that says it's available. Downloaded, installed but when launching it, it says it dioesn't find any license. Indeed, there is no VEP 7 license in the elicenser.

In my vsl, I've found my VEP 7 serial and, finally, my activation code and activated it on one pc. But VSL is for using with at least 2 computers ! With VEP 6 , I had 3 licenses. I need at least a second activation code. How or where should I find it ?

    Thanks for a tip !

  • I guess I get it ! Paying again for a second license ! Right ?

  • Hi JoPo,

That's correct, licenses are now available separately (you can use VE Pro with a one-computer setup just as well).

    Best,
    Paul

  • Yes, you need to purchase an additional license. But the following licenses are cheaper then the first one. Just open the product page and you should see on the left the price for an additional license.

  • Thanks for help ! I'm done.

  • Paul,

Do we need additional licenses if VE Pro 7 is only installed on a slave pc, and is only being added as a VST Plugin on the master pc in the DAW?

  • No, you do only need a license for the computer that runs the VEP instance.

  • Hi G,

You only need a license (and key) on every computer you want to run a VE Pro SERVER on.

If you "only" connect from your master computer to a networked computer, you will not need a license on the master computer (the Vienna Ensemble Pro plug-in does not need a license to run).
