I see epic Orchestra 2 comes with a sort of "demo pack" of the current synchron libraries. If I already own some of the full libraries, is there any reason to install those parts of Epic Orchestra 2?

imo it does not make sense to install the Syn strings from the epic orchestra if you already own the full library. same goes for syn cham strings and syn app strings. But I would install the synchronized version of the old epic library, for sketching and/or use with a notation programm, because they are light and easy to play live. You can choose what libraries to download and to install, so you don't have to install parts that you don't need.
