As to mono, if the input is taken from a true mono output, its behavior is mono according to the Goniometer.
This has been true for a while. It takes the instrument itself as mono to mono if that's available but I don't use any in that paradigm, I use BFD3 taking all the drums out as mono (cymbals as stereo).
The organization of automation parameters,. using names instead of numbers is a major big deal for me.
IE: I can create them ad hoc in a flaky order but for Cubendo the number of the channel is the first thing displayed, then the name of the parameter as exposed from the plugin (before some were mysteries if you forget what you set, the indicator was a mere hyphen) so my lanes are very much easier to work with.
There is still one bug, typing values for parameters gives wrong results, but that's supposed to be fixed in the next update acc'ding to the programmer. For me it's more efficient, Nuendo 8 and Cubase 10.
