  • Synchronized "old" VI Instruments

    Hello, VSL team.

I have purchased several single instruments of the VI-Pro series, mainly brass and woodwinds. Will it be possible, in the future, to switch to the Synchron version of all the VI Pro libraries?

  • It certainly looks that way.  So far, there are a host of Synchron-ized string libraries, ranging from Chamber Strings to Appassionata, Dimension Brass, Epic Orchestra 2.0, and now Special Editions.  My guess is that there will be more.

  • Personally, I think that it would be a mistake to Synchronize everything. It would make MIR Pro and the VI Series obsolete. New libraries like Synchron Brass I or Synchron Woodwinds I would be much more exciting than new Synchronized libraries.

  • Since the Special Edition is a child of the big Libraries, I guess that the big Packages are already converted and will be released in the near future. The most important thing is that old major Features like Auto Voicing, Time Stretching, MIR X are available in the Synchron Player. And MIR? ... even if it is not used for Vienna Products anymore, it will always be a bridge to bring every 3rd Party product into the mix. But please VSL ... please do not continue leaving Samples out of the transfer. You left the Effects of the Appassionata Strings behind ... although they would have been a good match to the SY FX Strings I. So, please do not continue with leaving Samples behind.
