    I am using VI Pro 2.4.17960.

     

    How do I assign a MIDI cc value to select a particular matrix ?

     

    I have two matrices and I want to switch between them using CC.

     

    The manual says p18 that

     

    “Matrix Key switches are purple (labelled “1-12”).”

     

    But there are no purple keys on the keyboard display ?

     

     

    The manual says on p25 

     

    2. Key Switch

     

    Click-drag to set value.

    Double-click to edit, enter to accept.

    Right-click to enable MIDI-learn.

    Right-click several boxes to enable consecutive MIDI-learn.

     

    11. KeySw/PrgCh

     

    Toggles display of program change number or key switch assignment.

     

    Clicking on the prg icon at the bottom of the matrix list puts numbers in the left hand column, but that is all ?

     

     

    And if that number 2 in the second matrix item is a CC, how does it work with the CC2 in the control map that is allocated to Velocity XF ?

     

    But none of these functions show how or where the assignment done ?

    Okay, I got it.

    It is done by a program change not a CC.
