  • Is a physical USB-stick really necessary in order to activate VSL 7 / EO 2.0 in logic?

    Hey guys!

I purchased and VSL pro 7 and Epic Orchestra 2.0 today. Now I can't activate de downloads to get them libraries for accessing them in Logic X via Native K. What do I have to do? Do I really need to wait for the shipping or is there another way to ghost that dongle?
That eLicenser Control Center just keeps telling me that there is no USB-Stick plugged in and therefore won't work in order to start these downloads.
I wanna use VSL as an AU inside Logic. Any help? Would appreciate it :)
    cheers, PMI

    Welcome PMI86,

You will indeed need a physical USB eLicenser key like the ViennaKey to store your license(s) on.

Alternatively to the ViennaKey, you can also use a Steinberg or Arturia Key, if you have one or can get one faster (they are usually available in music stores, and it´s the same copy protection system, "eLicenser").

    Best,
    Paul
