    Hi everyone, hope somebody can help, I had VEP5 up and running without issues. Suddenly today it started behaving strangely.

    As soon as I send a note to any instrument or just send any sound from the server computer the server audio engine locks up, the program doesn't crash. Also if I hit disconnect from the DAW computer the DAW locks up, I've tried with different ones too, logic, ableton, reaper.. same issue.

    The two mashines are connected with a ethernet cable between them (no router) and are both off the internet.

    The strange thing is also that this happens even if I do a new session with just one instrument.

    I suspect the problem to be on the server mashine not being ble to process audio!?

    Please someone help, this is happened suddenly, everything was working smootly until now :P

    Hi there, I'm struggling to solve this. Basically I have set up a VSL server on a windows mashine and running the DAW on my mac. Usually it works flawlessly, however sometimes the audio engine in the server locks up as soon as it tries to play any sound.

    Before any sound is attempted to be reproduced everything works, the transport follows etc... but as soon as a single note is played everything locks, including transport (just on server).
    This is the case even with a single instrument loaded. When this happens, I havn't found a good solution, I have to reboot the systems a bounch of times until it works :(

    BTW the 2 mashines are connected with a ethernet cable between them (no router) and I always turn off wi fi on both.

    Hi Paul, sure, I'm using OSX sierra on my DAW computer and windows 10 on the slave. The two mashines are conneted with an ethernet cable between them (no router) and when I use Vienna I always turn off wi fi on both to be safe. The server PC crashes as soon as I try to play any audio through it (at which point even transport freezes).

    Ok, although there isn't mush to see on screen, I don't get any error message or anything, it just locks up.
