Hi there,
Running the latest version of both VEP and Logic, and experiencing a lot of audio choking that didn't happen before. I've tried futzing with the VEP threads, Logic I/O and process buffers, and I deactivated a bunch of instances to see if the decrease in RAM and in instances would improve anything and it didn't. VEP and Logic are on the same machine running High Sierra.
The metaframe has about 18 instances, each running a separate MIDI port per instrument. It doesn't look like there's any massive CPU overloads happening, and though I'd get crashes with VEP 6 before this, I never had any audio dropouts.
Optmization for VEP/DAW/Kontakt has always seemed elusive to me - like you kinda have to just find the settings that work and hope for the best. Any help appreciated!
I'd also like to add that this rig is on the same network as another identical rig that is running a different version of VEP. The instances don't connect across rooms, but they are on the same network. Not sure if this affects this at all, but just throwing that out there.
