    Hello,

    I'm using the latest versions of VEP 6, DP 9, and Mac OS Mojave with a Mac master and two slaves.  I've been using this configuration for a long time with no problems.  Now, apparently out of the blue, using projects that have perfomed with no problem in the past the following is occurring.

    The midi files play back stuttering.  The audio files do not appear to be affected.

    I haven't changed anything or any settings.

    One other thing that happened recently was that my two slaves servers began to open projects empty with no instances while the master server opened just fine with instances.  That problem has been fixed, but now this stuttering problem remains.

    Any suggestions what may be causing the stuttering and how to fix it?

    Hello,

    I found the culprit.

    The problem started right after I installed a new Apple AirPort Extreme router.  I called Apple and discussed this with them.  They directed me to the Apple Airport Utility.  There they advised me how to change the "Bridge Mode" default setting that the Extreme came with to "DHCP & Nat.”  That fixed the problem.

    It took me days of hair pulling to get to this point.  VSL may want to consider including this tip somewhere for others who are confronted with this symptom.
