VE PRO 7 hangs

Hello,

I'm experiencing a large amount of hangs when bouncing music from Cubase and VE PRO 7: after a few minutes both of them freeze and all I have to do is kill them from the activity monitor and starts again.
This happens quite often, even without doing any edit on the project.

My system is configured as follows:
• MacBook Pro 15" mid 2018 with i9-8950HK CPU
• 32GB RAM
• VSL instruments stored within the internal NVMe SSD
• macOS 10.14.5
• Cubase Pro 10.0.20
• VE Pro 7 at the latest version, configured with one unique VE Pro instance with VSL instruments only

I wrote to the support but they can't reproduce the issue.
Is there anyone experiencing the same? Anyone with similar problems with T2 equipped Mac?

Mojave has a leak in Spotlight Indexing. I was having hanging all over the place, incl. when multiple apps (Cubase and VE Pro at the same time, for instance) hang creating a system hang and forcing a hard restart. It uses tons of CPU and disk I/O doing nothing of use.

This is reported pretty widely on the 'net. Disabling Spotlight Indexing takes care of it completely.

The way I did it is absolute. It required turning System Integrity Protection off and then Spotlight Indexing off in Terminal. how-to-turn-off-and-turn-on-spotlight-on-macos-mojave.html

thanks for your input.
I disabled Spotlight Indexing and that reduced hangs almost completely!
I discovered that once allocated a large amount of RAM with VE Pro, Cubase bouncing still hangs when the music has plenty of instruments playing together.
Have you ever experienced such as that?

Yeah, I've experienced frequent hangs while rendering with this project... RAM near to maxed out.

Typically I restart the machine and it will render.
