    Hi,

    I'm encountering something weird I never faced before. Copy/pasting several Cubase tracks makes VE Pro load or copy something and the system get stucked for some long seconds like when saving a project. I noticed it occures when including a track folder (which includes an instrument track, even empty) or when copying parts located on an Instrument Track. No problem when copying midi cues located on a standard midi track.

    Any idea?

    in coupled mode, yes. This is not a really great way to work if you're doing that kind of thing in Cubase.

     

    shouldn't hang that long but it could be a number of things. Connect that instance decoupled and this problem vanishes.

    Thanks, didn't think to Decouple mode. That said I wonder if this appeared on recent Cubase versions as I never got this issue since VE Pro/Ensemble first release I guess it's relevant to 'Instrument Track' feature. BTW I plan to go back to 'Rack' instead of 'Instrument' but I'll have to rebuild all my Cubase templates for. The Decouple mode will do the trick meantime, thank you!
