  • Vienna Instruments Keyboard / sounds Not Working In VE pro 7 - help please.

    Hi,

    I've upgraded to "Instruments pro" and "VE pro7" this week after a computer crash where I lost everything. 

    When I open V.Inst in standalone mode, I can test the sounds loaded onto the matrix using either the onscreen keyboard at the bottom of the V.Inst window, or by using my Keyboard 88.  The problem comes when I open V.Ensb and load up V.Inst, the keyboard options both onscreen or through my external keyboard don't work.  Even when I use the mouse to click on the on-screen keys, it appears as if the keys are locked.

    I've gone through the manual and tried a couple of checks from other threads to no avail.  Can anyone help, please?

  • Hi,

    make sure that you have started the VEP standalone edition and not the Server.

  • Doesn't work in any format, server or standalone - so frustrating


  • In the standalone version check in the options that the audio interface settings are correct.
    If you want to use the Server version you have to connect it to a DAW.

    I'd probably uninstall all VSL software and install the latest versions from scratch, to start with.
