    hello!

    can someone please explain to me how to tune the jazz drum kit in vienna instruments?
    how do i tune the snare or the toms for example?

    Hello LP!

    It is possible, but not very extensively and it may be a bit cumbersome.

    You can use the Master Tune option of the Vienna Instruments player (Advanced/Options/Master Tune) and/or the Pitch fader (Advanced/Perform). To control the Pitch fader, you can use the pitch wheel or assign a MIDI CC command. Please note that by default all Jazz drums patches will be affected, if you use the Pitch Wheel. So if I wanted to tune the snare or the toms, I would simply adjust the master tune option. If that's not enough, I would assign a different unused CC to all Pitch faders (under Advanced/Ctrl Map). You have to turn off the General Vienna Instruments player setting "Synchronize Control Map" for that.
