    Can anybody tell me how long before the Special Editions are to be discontinued?

    They arent discontinuing them. They just removed some of the bundling options because it was overly complex and super confusing (they already removed the bundling options).

    thanks for your reply. I appreciate that. Ok, that is good to know. I came across something on another forum that said they were going to be discontinued, so that is good to know then.

    The Special Editions are derived from the larger VI libraries so I would imagine that as long as the larger collections are available so will the SE.

    No, the VI Special Editions are not going away. As a proof, we've just released Special Edition Volume 5 - Dimension Strings, in both versions - VI version for the Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments Pro players, and the SYNCHRON-ized versoin for the Synchron Player.

    Don't believe everything that's happening on other forums ;-)

    Well, I'm glad that they are not going away.

    That's great to know from  vsl. Going over now to check out the new SE Dimension Strings library!

    What a great idea. I was hoping VSL would do one for an SE Library!
