  • VI Pro & VEP7 Pro question

    Hi

Sorry for being a bit confused, but I want to make the right upgrading decisions...

    - I do own: VEP7pro, VI Special Editions 1-4(+), the according Synchronized Special Editions and a few standard editions of singular instruments' VI Libraries (such as Oboe, for example).

I was considering to buy the Vienna Instruments Pro Player for its enhanced playing capabilities.

But I was wondering, if it really would be of any use for the products I do own or whether it is limited or not useful at all for the products I do own. The product description left me doubting, if VIPro was an upgrade-path I should choose at all.  Or is the ProPlayer present on my system already by owning VEP7pro?

    Thanks!

  • VI Pro will work for any of your VI libraries but I don't think it works for Synchron libraries (Synchronized? Not sure).

VI Pro is like a force multiplier for your sample arsenal and I recommend it for any of the VI libraries. I strongly recommend it for the SE collections because you can create variations in repeating notes, time stretch, and humanize which will make your MIDI performances more convincing.

    Hi,

Indeed, Vienna Instruments and Vienna Instruments Pro with with VI products exclusively, and you can test-drive VI Pro with a free demo license.

Our Synchron Series, including all SYNCHRON-ized products, works with the Synchron Player exclusively.

    Best,
    Paul
