  • VEP7 EQ Pro presets for SE Synchron instruments?

    1. I am curious, the presets that are in VEP7 for EQ Pro, are these designed for Vienna Instruments or for the Synchron Instruments? Might be a good idea to denote what libraries these presets are for in the integrated EQ Pro...

    2. I also noticed that there are specific Synchron Strings presets for violin 1 & 2, Viola, and Cello, but strangely missing is the double basses... Anyway, I tried these presets with the Special Edition Synchron orchestral strings and they sound great.

    3. I was curious, are there plans to bring over EQ presets for the Synchron Special Edition libraries? I ask because sound engineering isnt my thing, but it certainly is the Vienna peeps thing and having a base line to start from would be hugely beneficial to me.

  • Hi, the Synchron presets have an eq already included before the reverb is added. You can see and open it in the mix strip. The VEP eq presets are the same from the Vienna Suite fx plugins and therefore were made with VI in mind. I would not use most of the presets with the Synchronized instruments, but rather use these as reference to alter the Synchron player eq if I don't like something. Most likely the resonance menu will be useful, but I did not experienced any problems with resonances when working withe the syn. SE. If you don't hear that anything is wrong with an instrument, I would not use any additional eq or alter the preset. Best, Ben
