    Hi.

    I just try to play my guitar through VEP7(7.0.877) standalone, but audio from my guitar can't nput to a " INPUT " channel.

    I set Audio /MIDI preference properly.

    VEP7 standalone does not function as realtime audio host ?

    I can use virtual instruments with no problem.

    Please advise.

    Hi, I might be wrong on this, but as far as I know the audio input only works in the server version combined with the audio input plugin in a DAW / host. If you just need realtime audio without a full DAW, take a look at the "VST Host", it is a solid VST testing program (windows only). Best, Ben

    Yes, this is a feature of VEP the plugin; it has the host use it as an external device as well.
    Something has to act as host anyway you cut it.
