    My main setup is Cubase 10.0.30 and VEP 7 on a slave compter. When I work on my laptop I run VEP locally with the exact same project but VEP in Cubase can't find it. It says NOT CONNECTED (failed).Can VEP not find the new identical project on a new computer?

    Hi beatpete, 

    VE Pro connects based on 2 factors: 

    1) IP address

    2) instance name (= preserved name)

    If one of those 2 factors has changed, it will not connect. 

    If you want to open your song in another network surrounding, you'll need to connect the instances "manually".

    OK, thanks for the info. I was hoping that just an identical name would suffice.
