  • Mass assignment of CCs to the presets

    Hi,

While working with some Synchronized libraries, I've discovered that they have the same problem of the VI libraries: Velocity XF is controlled with CC2, and CC1 is reserved to selecting articulation variations.

Since CC1 is universally used for Velocity XF in other libraries, I want to keep VSL's one coherent, to have the same MIDI data ready for any library, whichever the manufacturer.

With the VI libraries I'm creating my own presets. The hidden Cmd-Opt-W trick makes it quite easy, since I can start from a prorotype, and propagate its settings to the other presets I'll create.

I can't find something similar with the Synchron Player. I would have to reassign all the CCs one by one. Is there any way to make this thing less time consuming?

    Hi Paolo,

Check out the last chapter in the Synchron Player Manual, "Preset Cloning", page 54.

You can copy controller assignments from one preset to the other, with a Right-Click on the PERFORM tab TITLE.

    Best,
    Paul
