Just trying to find out what would be considered "normal" CPU usage when using Vienna Ensemble Pro (6) on a Mac. Under the Activity Monitor, whenever VEPro is running and connected to Cubase, it shows under %CPU an average of around 80-100. This is even when not playing back anything. Not really sure what this readout means, since the total usage at the bottom of the Activity monitor shows User at about 15-20% total usage and usually around 75-85% Idle (90-95% when nothing is running on the computer).
