    Hey people I cannot seem to get the learn function to work with the Vienna Instruments plugin in VEP 6 parameter mapping. I can load up Absynth inside VEP6 and learn any parameter I touch but if I want to do the same with the Vienna Instruments plug-in I cannot seem to make it work. If I hit learn and touch Vel X or Att or Rel nothing happens. Is this expected behaviour? I can’t believe this is not possible. I don’t have any option in the drop down menu for these either. Only for simple volume and pan, bypass etc. Am I missing something? Regards Rob

    . They are strictly from midi, so look to the midi tab in the Automation map.

    Thanks for your help I have seen the midi stuff there but would like to use quick controls from Cubase via the parameter 1,2,3 etc because the parameter method updates my motorized faders. Any other method the faders work but don’t update. Is there no way to connect the CC controls of Vienna Instruments to the parameter numbers? It really is very sweet connecting them to any other Synths I have open in VEP.. Seems like a strange situation if not?? Cheers Rob

    Not in VE Pro. Cubase can make some controllers' faders do CC, but I'm not the person to show you.

    I may be misunderstanding the issue so far, but is 3rd-party software like "Automap" a workaround for this?

    I'm expecting arrival of my new 49-key Novation Impulse MIDI controller tomorrow... not looking forward to discovering Automap 4.12's limitations within my world of : 

    • Sibelius 8.6
    • ProTools 12.8
    • VE Pro7
    • MIR Pro24
    • Akai EWI USB
