  • Synchron Power Drums Update: where are the Cinematic I loops gone?

     Hi All,

I've just updated my Power Drums to have a look at these exciting new loops. But after updating, the midi player/browser only displays the new "Cinematic II" and "Rock" loops. I can now longer access the previously installed loops (Cinematic). Anyone else having this issue?

      Thanks!

             Thomas

  • Hello Thomas!

Please update your Synchron Player. Then the Cinematic I Loops should be there.

  •  Dear Andi,

Thank you very much for your swift reply. How silly of me; updating the Synchron Player to the latest version worked a charm. Problem solved!

  • For me (Player 1709 on Windows downloaded and installed today, Power Drums downloaded and installed yesterday), it's the other way around: I only have Cinematic ...

  • Hello pk-1!

Could it be that you didn't install the Power Drums Library Update yet?

    Hi Andi,

Indeed, that got me the new MIDI files! Thanks for that. (I was assuming that the update was already integrated into the main library download.)

However, it seems that the installation corrupted the MIDI files from Epic Orchestra: The main menu entry for Epic Orchestra in the first column is still there, but when I select it, the submenus in all other columns show the "Cinematic" content of Power Drums ... Maybe I need to reinstall Epic Orchestra? Can I only reinstall the MIDI files?

  • Hello pk-1!

The MIDI files that come with Epic Orchestra 2.0 are the same "Cinematic" files that come with the Power Drums. So it's not corrupted.

    Best regards,
    Andi

    Hi Andy!

Indeed! Sorry for bothering. I'll pay more attention next time.
