Hey there,
I own the Synchron Steinway and the Blüthner. After trying the Blüthner i have to say I am quite disappointed by the lack of velocity Layers. How many are there?
When I try to play quite emotional and silent stuff, the piano is not really responding well and gives me always the same sound.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?
I am using a Kawai VPC-1

set E3 [because it's almost a middle note of 88 keys] on Max velocity to calculate sound volume [monitored by Fabfilter L2] compare with Pianoteq 7 which is I miking as close as VSL's Pianos were on "close" mic [I use Ribbon sf24] and disable Repetation Smear for easier look.
using 15 possibillities Velocity [+8 from 0] and set those point by reference from Pianoteq 7.
